Table Night Cards

Guide

How a table night goes

Twenty minutes, a few cards, nobody lectured. It works best on an ordinary weeknight, before the deadline is close.

  1. Pick one deck, not all of them

Choose the milestone that is coming up next. Print it, or leave out the cards that don’t fit your family.

  2. Keep it to three or four cards

Twenty minutes is plenty. Stop while it’s still going well, and save the rest for another night.

  3. Let the teen read the question

They read the card out; you read the answer. If you print in guess mode, they answer first and flip the card to check.

  4. Write on the cards

Dates, account names, the state’s deadline. A card with your own notes on it is the one that gets kept.

  5. End with one small thing to do

Look up one date, open one page, put one number in a phone. The product line on each card is one option, never the only one.
